Terms of use
These terms cover use of the Pacewise iPhone app, optional Apple Watch companion, and the pacewise.ca website. The website is an informational landing page; accounts, tracking, and reports are provided in the iOS app. By creating an account or using Pacewise, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Pacewise is
Pacewise helps you track symptoms and related daily information and prepare printable summaries for clinic visits on iPhone, with optional quick logging on Apple Watch that syncs to your phone. It is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device or emergency care, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information you control. Do not use Pacewise to harm others or attempt to access another person’s private data.
Your content
You own the information you enter. You grant Pacewise a limited license to host, process, and display that information as needed to run the app (including sync, Insights, and reports you generate). You decide when to share a report outside the app.
Subscriptions
Core tracking remains available on the free tier. The free plan includes one clinic brief per month (for up to 14 days of data after at least 7 days of tracking) and the strongest pattern finding this month once there is enough signal. Pacewise Plus unlocks unlimited briefs, up to 3 pattern findings, longer ranges including since last visit, a 7 day clinician link, and additional report features as described in the app. Eligible users may start with a 7 day free trial of Plus. iOS subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Apple’s subscription settings. Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service or attempt to break security.
- Do not upload unlawful content.
- Do not rely on Pacewise alone for medical decisions or emergencies. Contact local emergency services when needed.
AI wording
Optional AI may polish the short visit summary in a clinic brief, and pattern card wording, from verified facts only. Pattern associations and report numbers are computed from your logs first. AI does not diagnose, invent numbers, or read your raw day by day logs. Template wording is used if AI is unavailable or fails validation. You must review reports before sharing them with a clinician.

Changes
We may update these terms. The “Updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Ending your account
You may delete your account in Settings. You must confirm your email address, and email sign in users must re enter their password. Deleting your account removes your Pacewise data from our systems. If you have Pacewise Plus, Apple may continue billing until you cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deletion does not automatically refund past charges.
